Accessibility
Last updated: 6 November 2026
Daymigo is built for people with disability, so accessibility comes first. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What Daymigo does
- Read aloud: a Read aloud button stays on screen, including on open listings.
- Text size and contrast: the A+ button at the top switches to large text, and the contrast button turns on high contrast. Daymigo also works with your phone's own text size and screen reader (VoiceOver, TalkBack).
- Plain language: short words and sentences, and icons always come with words.
- Calm by design: no ads, pop-ups, auto-playing videos or timers. Messages stay on screen until you close them.
- Big buttons, with space between them. Buttons work when you lift your finger, so you can slide off if you tap the wrong one.
- Undo: if you remove a saved place, you can undo it.
- Facts, not badges: listings say what's there (ramps, toilets, Changing Places, quiet times, parking). "Not checked yet" means we don't know, not that it's missing.
- My setup: you can tell Daymigo what you love and what's not for you, so the best things show first. Nothing is ever hidden.
- No account needed to use the guide.
What we're still working on
- Many access details haven't been checked with the venue yet. We mark these "Not checked yet" or "Not confirmed yet", and visitors can help with the "Know this?" button.
- Distances are measured from the centre of each suburb, so they're approximate.
- Some links go to other websites, such as Transperth or venue booking pages, which may not be as accessible.
- We check every screen with an automatic accessibility checker, but we haven't had an independent accessibility audit yet. We're testing with people with disability, families and support workers before launch.
Tell us if something doesn't work
